Sono nato a Scandiano nel 1948 e ho cominciato a fotografare nel 1975.
La mia prima macchina fotografica reflex è stata una Konica T3.
Ho stampato foto in bianco/nero e da diapositive.
Negli anni ho portato avanti una paziente ricerca storica di vecchie fotografie; ne ho raccolte circa 10.000 e la ricerca continua.
Il mio archivio è formato da lastre fotografiche, negativi in bianco nero, diapositive e foto digitali; circa 90.000 immagini che raccontano natura, storia, lavoro, vita politica e sociale, cultura e sport del territorio di Casalgrande, da fine 1800 ad oggi.
Un significativo campionario di queste immagini figura in Casalgrande. Fotografie e racconti, volume realizzato nel 2012 dal Comune di Casalgrande come sussidiario per l’insegnamento della storia locale agli alunni degli ultimi anni delle elementari.
Il sito dal 2016 al 2020 ha sorpassato il milione di visitatori!
I was born in Scandiano in 1948 and began photographing in 1975.
My first reflex camera was a Konica T3.
I printed black / white photos and slides.
Over the years I have led a patient historical research of old photographs; I have collected about 10,000 and the search continues.
My archive contains photographic plates, negatives, black-white, slides and digital photos; about 90,000 pictures that tell the nature, history, business, political and social life, culture and sports of the Casalgrande territory, from late 1800 to the present.
A significant sample of these images appears in Casalgrande. Photographs and stories, book published in 2012 by the Municipality of Casalgrande as a subsidiary for the teaching of local history to the students of the last years of primary school.
